Duralabharishtam – Excellent Herbal remedy for Chronic Piles, Constipation, Indigestion

Arshas (Piles / Haemorrhoids) according to Ayurveda means “That which causes agony and torture us like an enemy” Only those who suffer from this disease will be able to appreciate and accept the meaning as defined by Ayurveda. Piles is often associated, preceded or complicated by agonizing constipation. Duralabharishtam is a one shot remedy for both these conditions. Duralabharishtam also corrects metabolism and aids in good digestion.

Ingredients:

• Sita – Saccharum officinarum
• Duralabha – Tragia involucrate
• Danti – Baliospermum montanum
• Patha – Cyclea peltata
• Agni / Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica
• Vijaya / Haritaki – Terminalia chebula
• Vasa – Adhatoda vasica
• Dhatri (Amalaki) – Phyllanthus emblica /Emblica officinalis
• Nagara / Shunti – Zingiber officinale
• Phalini – Callicarpa macrophylla
• Krishna (Pippali) – Piper longum
• Chavya – Piper mullesua
• Dhataki – Woodfordia fruticosa

Available form:

• Arishtam – Fermented herbal preparation

Dose:

• 15-25ml mixed with 30-45ml of warm water on empty stomach preferably before food, (or after food) singly or mixed with suitable Arishta’s and Kashaya’s twice or thrice daily or as directed by a qualified and experienced Ayurvedic Doctor

Indications:

Duralabharishtam is effectively used in combating the below said conditions –

• Arshas – Haemorrhoids / Piles
• Koshtabaddata / Malabaddata – Constipation (Arishtam acts as a good laxative)
• Ajeerna / Ajirna – Indigestion, Low metabolism
