Drakshadi Kashayam:
Drakshadi Kashayam is a time tested herbal formulation which has been in use extensively by the Ayurveda community of doctors. It is an ideal prescription in Anaemia (Pandu roga), Jaundice (Kamala), Insanity, Pitta disturbances and a wide array of health issues. Draksha (Grape) is the main ingredient in the compound which also comprises of many valuable herbs. Ayurveda has named many compounds by the chief ingredient of the formulation.

Ingredients:
- Draksha – Vitis vinifera Linn (Grape)
- Madhooka – Madhuca indica J. F. Gmel (Butter Tree)
- Madhuka / Yashtimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra Linn (Liquorice)
- Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa Roxb.
- Kashmarya / Gambhari – Gmelina arborea Linn.
- Sariba – Hemidesmus indicus R. Br. (Indian Sarsaparilla)
- Musta – Cyperus rotundus Linn. (Nut Grass)
- Amalaka – Emblica officinalis (Indian Gooseberry)
- Hribera – Pavonia odorata Willd
- Padmakesara – Nelumbo nucifera, its androcium
- Padmaka – Prunus cerasoides D.Don. (Bird Cherry)
- Mrinala – Stalk or stem of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn (Sacred Lotus)
- Chandana – Santalum album Linn (Sandal Wood)
- Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioidis (Linn.) Nash. (Khaskhas grass)
- Nilotpala / Kumuda – Nymphaea nouchali Burm.f. (Indian Red Water Lily)
- Parushaka – Grewia asiatica Linn.

- Kashayam / Kwatham – Herbal Decoction
Dose:
- 10-15ml with 30-45 ml water, preferably before food, twice or thrice daily or as per the instructions of an experienced Ayurvedic Doctor
Indications:
- Pandu Roga – Anaemia
- Kamala – Jaundice
- Chardi – Vomiting, Nausea
- Bhrama – Giddiness, Vertigo
- Pratishyaya – Influenza, Flu, Cold
- Daha – Burning sensation especially in stomach, hands, feet
- Unmada – Insanity
- Pitta Roga – Diseases manifested due to excessive contamination of Pitta
- Vata Roga – Diseases manifested due to excessive contamination of Vata
- Yakrit Roga – Liver Disorders
- Pleeha Roga – Spleenic Disorders
- Agnimandhya – Lack of appetite, Sluggish metabolism or digestion
- Ajeerna – Indigestion
- Jwara – Fever
- Madaatyaya – Intoxication especially that induced due to consumption of alcohol
- Murcha – Fainting, Loss of consciousness
- Trishna – Excessive thirst
- Rakta-vamana – Vomiting of blood, Haemoptysis
- Raktasraava – Excessive bleeding from any orifice
- Ushnata – Excessive heat (impact of severe heat during summer and its complications)
